Can I change my current eSIM to a new device which supports eSIM?

Yes, of course, you can! To transfer your eSIM to your new device, head to the Virgin Mobile App and follow these SIMple steps:

  1. Connect to the internet on your new device that supports the eSIM “preferably Wi-Fi.”
  2. Then, on the Virgin Mobile App on your new device, go to “My Account” -> “My Number” and tap on “Manage eSIM”.
  3. Select “Move eSIM to new device” then tick all the instruction boxes and click on “Get started”.
  4. Enter your password to verify your identity.
  5. You’ll receive an SMS on your Virgin Mobile number with an OTP code. Enter the code and confirm that you want to swap from eSIM to eSIM.
  6. Tap on “Install eSIM” and you’ll be taken to phone settings. Select “Add Cellular Plan” and continue. The eSIM will be automatically added to your phone.
  7. You can choose to install your eSIM later and we will send you an email with link to activate your eSIM. You’ll need our App to open the link.

Please note: You have to physically be in the UAE to be able to change to eSIM.
