How do I transfer my existing UAE number to Virgin Mobile?

You can transfer your current number to Virgin Mobile during the sign-up process by following a few SIMple steps. On the sign-up flow;
  1. Select 'BRING YOUR CURRENT NUMBER'
  2. Enter your number and select the operator
  3. Select 'I have a valid Emirates ID' box (this also applies to passports)
  4. Confirm request
If you are transferring your number from Etisalat to Virgin Mobile, this will take up to 1 working day. If you are transferring your number from Du to Virgin Mobile, this could take up to 2 working days on average. Things to know:  
  • Use your own ID (Emirates ID or Passport) to set up your Virgin Mobile account and bring your number
  • Make sure the number you are transferring is registered under your own name with your previous operator
  • Make sure the number you are transferring is active with your current operator
  • Make sure the number you are transferring is not an Enterprise number 'company/employer number'
Please note that if your request is rejected, you will have 7 days to resubmit your request from the initial submission date. After this period, you will have to create a new account and submit the transfer request again. You have the option to return to your previous operator within 3 days of transferring your number to Virgin Mobile.
