Our journey towards a sustainable office, one step at a time

As a business progressing towards being carbon-negative, we understand that sustainability is a journey. It takes a collective effort of many small, conscious changes in our lives to have a positive impact on people and our planet.

We are committed to offering alternative solutions to everyday products and services that allow people to live better and consciously. Whether it is the launch of our biodegradable sustainable sim cards or the carbon off-setting feature on the Virgin Mobile app , we are constantly looking to involve our people to make a positive impact on the planet.

As with every journey, we recognise that change begins at home. Therefore, we have made positive and meaningful steps to switch to sustainable alternatives within our workplace and encourage all our employees to join us in efforts to reduce our carbon footprint .

At the Virgin Mobile office, the team has undertaken sustainability initiatives including auditing our carbon footprint, a waste audit, and introducing reusable mugs, water bottles and coffee cups amongst others.

If you’re keen on contributing with your efforts towards better sustainability, the Sustainability section of our app can be a great start. Through the app, you can co-contribute with us towards sustainability by donating towards projects that reduce carbon emissions. Once you contribute an amount you like, we will match that amount from our side!
