What is Pay As You Go?

‘Pay As You Go’ is a flexible plan that lets you continue using our services by deducting money from your Virgin Mobile in-app ‘Wallet’ as per your consumption. In a nutshell, you pay for what you use! Please note specific service rates apply for PAYG.

You can opt for ‘PAYG’ when:

  1. You haven’t purchased an international voice plan and you want to make international calls
  2. You’ve reached/exceeded your ‘Card Spend Limit’ and we cannot renew your plan (assuming you have enough money in your ‘Wallet’)
  3. Making or receiving calls when you are outside of the UAE (voice roaming)
  4. Calling countries that aren’t included in your international voice plan
  5. Sending premium SMS (mParking, donations, contests, etc.)
  6. Paying for purchases, such as boosters, and we’re unable to charge your credit card

‘PAYG’ does not apply to data. Local calls and SMS (within the UAE) are charged at AED 0.38 per minute to both landlines and mobiles.
