Why do I get an error message in the app when I try to change my payment card?

Oh no, sorry to hear about that. There are a number of reasons why this might happen. See some of the most common below…

  1. Your card is expired.
  2. Your card is registered to another Virgin Mobile account.
  3. Your card has been reported lost or stolen.
  4. You have entered your card number incorrectly.
  5. You’ve used an international card we don’t accept.
  6. You have entered the CVV (3 numbers on the back of your card) incorrectly.
  7. Your card isn’t Visa or MasterCard.
  8. Your bank doesn’t allow this type of payment on your card.
