How do I convert an existing account into a Virgin Mobile Youth account?

You can easily convert an existing account into a Youth account by following these steps:
  1. Open the Virgin Mobile app.
  2. Tap on the number selector at the top of the screen and select "MANAGE NUMBERS".
  3. Tap on the 3 dots for the number you want to convert.
  4. Select "Switch to Youth SIM" and follow the instructions.
Please note:
  • Youth SIMs are only available to individuals who are younger than 18.
  • You will need to scan a valid Emirates ID of your kid.
  • After the account is converted, the number will be added to the Do Not Call Registry and opted out of marketing messages to avoid unwanted marketing calls.
  • Transfer of ownership for the Youth number is not allowed until he or she turns 18.
