How do I join Virgin Mobile?
You can visit our website to sign up for a plan. You can choose a mobile plan, or a home internet plan. Best part, you can customize your plans to fit your exact needs. Visit our website here. You can also download the Virgin Mobile app on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and the Huawei AppGallery. Finally, you can also pick up a SIM at any of our kiosks across the UAE, or stores we’ve partnered with.
What do I need to sign up to Virgin Mobile?
To sign up to Virgin Mobile, you must have a valid ID as this is a requirement by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA).
  • If you’re a UAE resident, we recommend using your valid Emirates ID.
  • If you’re a visitor in the UAE, you can sign up with your passport at our shop at arrivals at the airport, or by visiting our kiosk at a Virgin Megastore near you
How can Tourists get a Virgin Mobile SIM from the airport?
Welcome to the UAE! You can get a SIM card upon arrival at Dubai Airport, available at Terminals 1, 2 and 3, as well as at Abu Dhabi & Sharjah Airports. Here’s how to find us:
  • In Dubai Airport Terminal 1, we are located on the left at the start of the walkway in the passengers meet and greet area just after immigration.
  • In Dubai Airport Terminal 2, we're at the end of the walkway in the passengers' meet and greet area before you leave.
  • In Dubai Airport Terminal 3, we’re in the telecoms section of the terminal. Walk pass Starbucks which is on your right and we’re located in front of you on the left before the passengers meet and greet area.
  • In Abu Dhabi Airport, we have 2 locations in the arrivals terminal. Our shop is located on the right-hand side of the terminal next to Big ticket and our kiosk is located on the left hand side of the terminal after the Travelex kiosk.
  • At Sharjah Airport, we are present right after the passport control doors to the immediate left before leaving the airport.
Once you’ve got your SIM, pick a plan of your choice. Our team will then review the ID you submitted, which might take a few hours. Once your ID is approved, your SIM will be activated, and you’ll be ready to start using your data and minute.
Do I need to be a certain age to join Virgin Mobile?
You can join Virgin Mobile if you are 18 years or older. If you are younger than 18 you can still use Virgin Mobile but only under our Family Plan.
